The air conditioned bedrooms of Arabella cottage
Throughout Casa Arabella, we have tried to maintain a blend of English and Portuguese traditions, both bedrooms reflect this.
Fully air conditioned they are cool and airy in the summer but thanks to the modern restoration, staying warm and cosy during the cooler months.
Comfortable beds in both the family room and the twin bedded room mean that you wake refreshed, ready to start another day of sightseeing and relaxation.
Arabella cottage family room
The family room has one double bed and a single, with ample wardrobe and drawer storage. Patio doors open onto the terrace, and give a fantastic view over the pool and towards the Orange groves in the valley below.
Arabella twin bedded room
The twin bedded room is simply and comfortably furnished with traditional old style Portuguese beds.
A cot is readily available, but please let us know in advance.
The beautifully tiled and fitted bathroom is shared.
Our air conditioning system is simplicity itself to control. Capable of quickly cooling the room for those hot summer nights (and the afternoon for a short nap to avoid the heat of the day, not to mention recover from the wine at lunchtime). For the cool, even sometimes chilly winter evenings, a click of a button will rapidly warm the room. The controls are very easy to use, each room has its own controller that allows you to choose any desired temperature.
